Come.lite started as an alternative to the official Comelit app. It works with a Comelit hub for home devices and for door-entry systems attached to that hub (note: it does not support door stations on their own, with no hub). Come.lite is unofficial. It is not made or supported by Comelit in any way.

Why does it exist? Well, I have a Comelit system at home and, let’s say, I was never a big fan of their software. After too much time spent putting up with slowness, crashes, and an awkward, dated interface, I rolled up my sleeves and wrote an app that, at least for how I use it, could work better.

That’s how Come.lite began: an attempt to make Comelit home control more pleasant. A modern interface, something you can tailor, something fast (and, with any luck, no crashes and none of that three-second flicker that made me swear every time I opened the official app).

Today it covers essentially everything in the full Comelit app, except alarm systems and CCTV (I don’t have those, so I can’t test them). There are extras too, and features that actually work compared with the official app. I tried to take what the official app promises and make it usable.

If something is missing, or you’d like it to work differently, write to me from the contact form. I’ll consider every request and try to build it, within what the Comelit hardware actually allows.
